Feel overwhelmed feeding your family? Let’s fix that, one small step at a time.

Simple systems, batch-cooked meals, and soul-stirring encouragement for mothers who want to reclaim the kitchen without pressure or perfection.

Start here, not with perfection

You don’t need a perfect pantry or a four-week meal plan to feel better about feeding your family. Just one small, trusting step. Maybe that’s batch-prepping a few basics. Maybe it’s saying goodbye to meal-time guilt. Maybe it’s admitting that things feel a bit stuck and you’re ready to feel confident again. The Home Cooking Edit at Real Life. Real Kitchen. is a gentle, one-to-one practical reset for mums who want a simpler kitchen rhythm, without pressure or overwhelm. I’ll help you build meals with real food that nourishes your family and routines that free your brain. Because the kitchen shouldn’t be where you fall apart. It should be where you come back to real life.

the story

Meet Zoë, your Family Food Consultant

I’ve been cooking from scratch for 25 years, through student budgets, travel adventures, and now five children, a gluten-free kitchen, and the whirlwind of homeschooling. I’ve had empty fridges, tearful toddlers, and dinners pulled together from scraps…and I know how heavy it can all feel.

But I’ve also found ease, joy, and real rhythm in the kitchen. Not through perfection, but by returning to what really works: nourishing food, simple systems, and the quiet courage to do things differently.

Let me show you how. It's about Real Life, Real Kitchens and Real Food.

What they’re saying

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Zoë’s Cooking Edit. From start to finish, my interaction with Zoë exceeded my expectations. I initially booked the service as I was hoping to learn more about gluten free cooking, it turned out to be so much more. I was a little apprehensive to have someone come to my kitchen and help me with an area that I am not particularly skilled in but I needn’t have worried.

The session itself was thoroughly enjoyable. Zoë is kind, understanding and very skilled in her profession. I was amazed at the amount of food that we prepped in such a short time, and all on a very manageable budget!

As result of this service my confidence has grown and it has helped relieve the constant pressure of “what do I cook next?!” In addition, understanding how to prep for my family has freed up much more time and has helped with unnecessary food spends on convenience food.

I would, and have, thoroughly recommend this service. It is perfect for anyone stuck in a rut, those looking to make a change in their household, a perfect gift for new mothers and for many, many others.

I look forward to seasonal edits to allow me to approach all seasons with such ease!
