hello! i’m zoë
Wife, mother, & family food consultant
I just want to be completely honest – I’m not a trained chef.
I’ve always loved pottering about in the kitchen, sometimes in far-flung places around the globe thanks to my studies and when the children started coming along, it became essential. Many mouths to feed and bodies to nourish and no time or energy to eat out! (Hard to find a sitter for five children (or even three or four!).
Over the years I really honed my recipe repertoire. I became smarter at cooking so that it wasn’t a chore each evening. My meals became more budget friendly as the brood grew and I became more supermarket savvy.
And then in 2018, I decided to go gluten free. I wanted to see if what I ate would improve some ongoing medical niggles and sure enough, it did. So, we’ve all been GF ever since.
I’ve refined my cooking skills some more since then, had more children and now, really know what a busy home is like. I want to share what I’ve learnt to help families like yours eat real food and live well.
I’m a Kitchen Coach so I help you prepare the meals rather than coming in and doing it for you. The recipes and cooking tips and tricks are not complicated. We’ll be making family-pleasing meals, versatile dishes which you can batch cook and then use in a multitude of ways. And of course, sweet treats that you can make with ease but still give you a ‘Ta dah!’ moment.
You want to eat well and live well.
I can help you.

These are a few of my favorite things…
- Seriously chunky woolly jumpers. Ideally hand knitted. With a crisp bit of cabling in there for good measure.
- Ambling in bleak & wind blasted landscapes, ideally on a cold coastline somewhere in the north of Europe. I mean, where best for those aforementioned woolly jumpers? It’s not going to be the Caribbean…
- Enjoying a roaring fire and a Georgette Heyer novel whilst sporting this increasingly infamous woolly jumper.
- Chatting to Eastern Europeans, finding out about their favourite fermented vegetables, getting the recipes from their generous Mamas and then having a go in my own kitchen. Nom nom. Woolly jumper optional.
